Solo trip or trip with friends – which one do I prefer?

Updated: Mar 29, 2022

I have always been traveling. To be accurate, my first trip was to Dalhousie when I was only 5-6 months old, but my long-term stay was in the USA- the place that changed me in and out! I was around 10 years old when I reached there, and I was completely lost. Over there, my family and I used to go out most of the time to explore. We went on to 15 days road trip from south of USA to north-from Florida to Niagara Falls. Everything and everyone were running here and there trying to get the perfect picture for them to frame after they get back home. But in that happy chaos, no one was locking the moment; no one was taking a deep breath.

With this I realized that solo trips are the one I will prefer because when you have someone with you, you are just in that crowd trying to fit in, you are there to look good, to look cool, to enjoy according to the majority but you are not with you!

In solo trips, it's just you, creator of your own rules, own plan. It will be hard to navigate in a completely different place but trust me once you will reach there on your own, thrill of excitement, that current will pass in your body to just praise yourself or to just be you. Reaching at the sunset point on your own at 4am on top of the mountain, being there only by yourself and just sitting there glaring at the amazing colours of nature. You can shout at the top of your voice, take things out, and dance like crazy without anyone making fun of you after! It's not easy to find yourself, but if you get the opportunity to explore, EXPLORE YOURSELF.
